Memberships

Members enjoy the following: 

  • Voting rights at the General Meetings (after 3 months membership)
  • Represent Waitematā in Team events 
  • Eligible to Play in the Waitematā Closed tournament
  • Eligible to play TTNZ-affiliated tournaments (e.g. Waitematā Open, Auckland Open, Nationals) and receive a national ranking
  • Receive our regular newsletter

Membership rates

  • Seniors $45 a year
  • Juniors (Under 19) $45 a year
  • Veterans (Over 65) $25 a year

Membership starts on the sign-up date. Terms apply.

Swipe Tags

Swipe Tag enable members FREE access to the stadium from 8 AM to 9:30 PM. Play for free with other Swipe Tag members. When playing with a member who does not have a Swipe Tag, a charge of $10.00 per hour is incurred and charged to the Swipe Tag member’s account.

Waitematā Table Tennis members can purchase a Swipe Tag online at HelloClub or via EFTPOS / Paywave with any session manager. If you purchase online, you can pick up your tag from the front desk with any session manager. Important: You must be a WTTA member before you can purchase a Swipe Tag. The rates are:

  • $420 per year (Under 21 or Over 65s) 
  • $520 a year (Seniors)
  • $65 per month (this option must be completed online)

Note: the main gate outside the stadium is closed by the Council at 9:30 PM, there may be a call-out fee if you ring the Council to open the car park gate.

Session Fees

  • Day Sessions (Mon-Fri) $5 members $15 non-members Free for Swipe Tag members
  • Weekend Sessions (Sat mornings) $7 members $15 non-members Free for Swipe Tag members
  • Evening Sessions (Mon/Tues/Thurs 7pm) $7 members $15 non-members Free for Swipe Tag members
  • Casual Hire Bookings $10 an hour per person Free Swipe Tag members (requires two tag holders to turn on lights) Tables are available for more than two players at $20 per table per hour.
  • Group Coaching Sessions $10 members $20 non-members

Affiliation

Support table tennis in West Auckland by becoming an affiliated member of WTTA. We invite local schools, clubs, and businesses to join our network and help provide inclusive facilities and programmes for the community. Affiliated entities are entitled to representation and one vote at General Meetings, giving your organization a voice in the sport’s development.

Annual Affiliation Fees:

  • Schools & Clubs (Not-for-profit): Free
  • Businesses & Organizations (For-profit): $100
